How do I spot a fake download site?
Trust only sogouinputmethod.com. Domains like app-sogou.cn, web-sogou.com or sogousoft.com that carry the Sogou name and a high-speed downloader button are copycats and may bundle adware or malware.
Installing on Windows without bundles
After downloading the official installer, choose Custom Install and uncheck the default extras such as the assistant, PDF and photo viewer, so only the input method itself is installed.
Does it support Windows 11?
Yes. The Windows build officially supports Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 in both 32-bit and 64-bit. Get the installer from sogouinputmethod.com/windows and use custom install.
Downloading and enabling the Mac version
Get the Mac build at sogouinputmethod.com/mac, then add Sogou Pinyin under System Settings, Keyboard, Input Sources and grant the permissions it asks for.
Android APK and Google Play

No. The Pinyin version has built-in simplified-traditional switching: press Ctrl+Shift+F or change the output setting. Taiwan has a Zhuyin branch, but its old build is unmaintained, so prefer the Pinyin version.
